The Uwharrie Bigfoot Festival makes its debut in Denton, North Carolina this summer, inviting cryptid enthusiasts, families, and curious adventurers alike to celebrate all things Sasquatch. Hosted at Denton FarmPark, this first annual event promises a mix of folklore, family fun, and Bigfoot-themed attractions that will bring the legend to life.


What to Expect at the Festival

Live Music & Performances
Kick off the weekend with live entertainment from local musicians and performers. Music will flow throughout the park, creating the perfect atmosphere for fun and community.

One-of-a-Kind Attractions
Prepare for sights and experiences you won’t find anywhere else. From a floating Sasquatch on a hoverboard to monster truck rides with a Bigfoot twist, this festival goes big in every way. Special guests include TurtleMan and Swamp Man, adding a dash of wild adventure to the lineup.

Kid Zone & Family Activities
Families will love the dedicated Kid Zone featuring bounce houses, crafts, and a petting zoo. Children can explore safely while parents enjoy the sights, sounds, and food of the festival.

Vendors, Food, and Crafts
Explore rows of vendors offering delicious festival food, handmade crafts, and unique Bigfoot memorabilia. Admission is $15 per day for ages 11 and up, while kids 10 and under get in free. Multi-day passes are also available.

Guest Speaker Spotlight
Bigfoot researcher Mike Familant, producer of In the Shadow of Big Red Eye, will be sharing his stories and insights into the mysterious world of Sasquatch.

  • Camping: Onsite camping is available by reservation, making it easy to enjoy the entire weekend.

  • Weather: The event is rain or shine, so come prepared for any conditions.

  • Pets: Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, as long as owners clean up after them.
